Simonsig, Kaapse Vonkel Brut 2019

Simonsig is best known for its Kaapse Vonkel, which was the first sparkling wine made in South Africa according to the traditional French method of Champagne. Kaapse Vonkel means Cape Sparkle, this is a delicate wine with delicious flavour intensity that is consistently good and represents great value year after year.

TASTING NOTES
A classic champagne blend it has a lively energetic mousse which forms a crown of bubbles in the glass. On the nose it shows a lively floral character and citrus fruits which is complimented by red berry flavours from the Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. On the palate the wine shows elegant yeasty flavours with great finesse on the finish.
