Perhaps Cullen’s best-known wine, this blend was recently included in the prestigious Langton Classification of Australian Wines. Biodynamic viticulture has achieved a style that has freshness and complexity, structure and suppleness. This biodynamic wine is typically a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, but the blend varies according to vintage.
“Deep garnet-purple in colour, this wine reveals wonderfully expressive Cabernet aromas of warm cassis, mocha, smoked duck, anise, cardamom and freshly tilled loam. Crisp, medium bodied, intense and tight-knit, this is a relatively soft textured vintage with just above a medium level of very fine tannins. The finish is satisfyingly long. Drink it 2012 to 2020.” – Robert Parker – October 2010

“Juicy black fruits, fresh and plump plum, blackberry. Very primary and junior but hints at grandeur to come.” – 17.5 – Jancis Robinson – December 2010
