The coolest slopes of the Sexton vineyard are planted with five Pinot Noir clones from Burgundy, New Zealand and Australia, managed according to biodynamic principles.
A heady, alluring nose, with abundant aromas of floral cherries, earthy spice, sap, preserved plums and berries. The medium weight palate displays a silky textural quality with blackberry, strawberry, char and cedar. Firm, balanced and layered over a scaffold of dusty ‘top of the mouth’ tannin. A wine drinking exceptionally well now with good ageing potential.
