A classic Yarra Chardonnay from Phil Sexton. The ripe citrus and melon fruit with a slight tropical hint on the nose is followed onto the palate and the wine is rich and textured but never heavy or clumsy. Good acidity and a mineral core balance out the pure fruit very well. A great biodynamic wine from one of Australia’s best Chardonnay producers.
Oak, leesy complexity, minerals, lemon oil, herbs and spice on the nose. Big flavours packed into this wine. Very well made and undeniably good with lots of ripe stone fruit, good creamy finish and slightly chunky style. Fine and complex.
