Tahbilk is a bulwark of Victorian Shiraz, it’s original plantings are some of Australia’s earliest. Traditional viniculural techniques, as practised by Tahbilk’s winemakers in the 1860s, are still utilised, and the original chais of the winery is to this day a most integral part of the operations.
A deep red magenta colour in the glass. Aromas of plum and spice with background peppery hints leading to a solidly constructed palate of blackberry, plum and anise fruits with firm but not overly intrusive tannins on the finish.
