Willi Brundlmayer is perhaps the leading producer in Kamptal, one of Austria’s Danube regions. Brundlmayer has diverse soil types producing a complex palette of flavours and aromas. The vineyards are mostly planted on terraces and combined with low fertility soil creates wines with depth and concentration.
A delicate Gruner Veltliner from this top producer situated in Langenlois on the river Danube. Being true to its varietal character it expresses spicy white pepper and mineral notes with a fine fruity palate. It’s easy style and finesse makes it a great wine to partner to pan-seared scallops.
