Colour: White
A very difficult, but rewarding grape to grow, Viognier’s viticulture is prone to mildew, low and unpredictable yields and fussy picking preferences – there is a very small window of ripeness, and harvest outside of this will produce wines which completely fail to reach their potential. A well-timed Viognier wine is a lovely blend of colour, aroma and freshness, with a multi-faceted taste.
