From selected plots and aged from 6 to 10 years on lees, Lady de N cuvées represent the quintessence of Champagne Le Brun de Neuville’s know-how. These Champagnes are dedicated to gastronomy: fine, elegant and endowed with a great complexity.
TASTING NOTE
The Champagne presents a pale green yellow dress enhanced with pale green yellow hints. It is covered by fine and light bubbles offering a delicate crackling. The first nose reminds of smells of brioche, chalk, raspberry, white pepper, lily, pistachio, lemon heart. When aerated, it turns to notes of almond paste, fresh mint and blanched almond. A further aeration reveals flavours of grilled hazelnut and iodized accents.
POWER AND FLORAL NOTES
The approach in the palate is soft and fresh with a creamy and melted effervescence. The wine develops with a density of fleshy white fruit and citrus fruit, well enhanced by a tense acidity with lemony and aniseed tones. The mid-palate is orchestrated by a very pure chalky minerality. The delicate return of fragrances of white and yellow flowers sustains the elegance and vinosity of this thoroughbred Champagne.
