Terms of Service

When buying wine from us you must abide by these Terms and Conditions. By registering on our website or purchasing through it you are agreeing to be bound by them.

1. You must be 18 years or over before placing an order with us. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
2. If you are buying wine as a gift, the recipient must also be over 18 years old.
3. The credit card you use to purchase wine/goods from The Grape Store must be your own or you must have the permission of the card holder to use the card for the purpose of ordering wine/goods from The Grape Store.
4. We reserve the right to cancel any order we can not fulfil for any reason. If your order is cancelled we will contact you to explain why and, if you have already been charged, refund your money for the order.
5. Our standard delivery charge is £6.95 for 12 bottles and £9.95 for 6 bottles, we aim to deliver within 3-5 working days from receipt of order, if not sooner.
6. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling, and may be per bottle or per case as marked. The prices include Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate, unless otherwise specified. All delivery charges are additional. Minimum order is 6 bottles.
7. If your order goes missing, or is damaged between dispatch and delivery, we will send you a replacement order as soon as we can. If we are unable to dispatch the replacement order within 7 days we will give you a full refund.
8. We reserve the right to contact your card issuer for the purpose of carrying out security checks.
9. We take your privacy very seriously and will only pass on your details to third parties when necessary to fulfil your order i.e. to warehouse operators or couriers.
10. Any promotions, discounts or vouchers are single use only and not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion or voucher unless otherwise stated.
11. Products on our website are displayed in ‘real time’. This is to say that any product may be withdrawn from offer without notice.
12. If we are unable to fulfil your order, we reserve the right to substitute up to three bottles with similar wines of at least the same value. You can return these bottles at our expense for a full refund if you wish.
13. Every effort is made to keep vintages up to date but you may receive a later vintage of the same wine if stated vintage is no longer in stock.
