Category: 12.5% ABV, Biodynamic, Cabernet Franc, Catherine & Pierre Breton, France, Loire Valley, Natural, Organic
Catherine & Pierre Breton practice organic & biodynamic viticulture, this stems from a love of the land, they champion natural winemaking techniques and use only minimal amounts of sulphur during the winemaking process.
The Breton’s make two very special types of Bourgueil, one of which is Trinch – in French, this is the sound of two classes clinking. This natural wine is for drinking immediately, chilled not cold. It is delicate and refreshing with an uncanny ability to go well with a range of food.
TASTING NOTES
Breton Bourgueil Trinch brims with fresh, tart evocations of ripe blackberries; offers infectiously juicy satisfaction, and adds some finishing interest by way of bitter fruit pit and bittersweet herbal hints.
