TERROIR
The Collioure vineyard is located in Roussillon in the far South of France, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. Vines are planted on schist slopes, stretching from the inland valley up to terraces overlooking the sea.
GRAPE VARIETIES
Grenache noir 80% - Mourvèdre 15% - Syrah 5%
WINEMAKING
Hand harvest in small buckets. Cold soaking for 24h prior crushing the grapes. Maceration at 25°C for 20 days. Aging in stainless steel vats for 8 months on its own lees.
TASTING NOTES
Lively red colour. Nose of red berries, blueberry and peppery notes. On the palate, the wine is elegant, rich, with ripe dark fruit aromas and silky soft tannins.
FOOD PAIRING
Serve at 14°C and pair with grilled meats, barbecues, tapas or goat cheese.
